The hotel had tons of parrots. These ones would say "Hola!"
We decided to hang out at the pool!
The hotel also gave us free 15 minute massages. Chad took advantage. He said it was really nice.
The last night Maverik had a farewell dinner. It was good food, great fun, and a sad goodbye to our guide, Karla. She was amazing.
Believe it or not but there is a man underneath all of those fireworks. They called it the "Little Bull." We were told it is a tradition at every fiesta in the country of Guatemala. Needless to say the safety standards are a lot different than in the United States!
These children put on a nice show for us.
Guatemala was such a blast. I would definitely go back if we ever had the chance. The people were so nice and helpful. They didn't get mad at us because we couldn't speak their language. The weather was fantastic. Chad felt so good while we were there.
